Report Abuse on AfterOmegle

Random video chat only works when people feel safe using it. If you see unsafe, abusive, explicit, suspicious, or harmful behavior, report it so we can review the issue and keep the platform safer for everyone.
For safety issues during an active chat, the best way to report is to use the Report button inside the chat. In-app reports are usually more useful than email because they may include relevant session-level safety signals that help us review abuse more effectively.
If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, leave the chat immediately. You do not need to continue any conversation that feels wrong.
Report During an Active Chat
Use the in-app Report button if something unsafe happens while you are chatting.
This is the fastest and most effective reporting path for:
- nudity or sexually explicit behavior
- harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech
- scam attempts or suspicious links
- spam or bot behavior
- blackmail or recording threats
- impersonation
- minor safety concerns
- repeated misuse
- any other violation of our Community Guidelines
After reporting, end the chat if the conversation feels unsafe or inappropriate.
Report After a Chat Has Ended
If you were unable to report during the chat, or if you need to follow up on a serious safety concern, contact us at: [email protected]
When sending an abuse report, include only the details needed to understand the issue:
- what happened
- approximate date and time
- type of issue (nudity, harassment, threats, scams, suspicious links, spam, blackmail, impersonation, or minor safety)
- any relevant non-sensitive details
Do not include unnecessary personal information, private images, passwords, OTPs, payment details, government IDs, or unrelated screenshots.
What You Can Report
You can report behavior that violates our Community Guidelines or creates a safety risk for users.
Nudity or Sexual Content
Report users who show nudity, sexually explicit behavior, sexual acts, unwanted sexual comments, or sexually aggressive behavior.
Harassment or Hate Speech
Report users who insult, threaten, bully, intimidate, shame, degrade, or target people based on identity, appearance, nationality, religion, language, disability, gender, or other personal characteristics.
Scams or Suspicious Links
Report users who ask for money, gift cards, crypto, OTPs, passwords, payment details, banking information, or send suspicious links.
Do not click links from strangers.
Recording or Blackmail Threats
Report users who threaten to record, expose, share, publish, or misuse your video, audio, messages, image, or personal information.
Spam, Bots, or Platform Abuse
Report automated behavior, spam messages, fake traffic, repeated disruptive behavior, attempts to bypass restrictions, or misuse of the platform.
Minor Safety Concerns
Report any behavior that appears to exploit, sexualize, threaten, manipulate, groom, endanger, or harm a minor.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate authority in your region immediately. In the United States, you can also report online child sexual exploitation to the NCMEC CyberTipline. In the UK, report to the Internet Watch Foundation.
What Happens After a Report
AfterOmegle reviews reports using available safety information. In-app reports reach the review queue faster than email because they automatically include session-level signals that email reports do not.
Depending on the issue, review involves:
- report category
- approximate time
- session-level safety signals
- abuse-prevention signals
- repeated misuse indicators
- automated content-safety checks
- moderation review where available
When a violation is confirmed, AfterOmegle takes action. Depending on severity:
- warning
- temporary restriction
- permanent restriction
- blocking repeated misuse
- limiting access from certain sessions, devices, browsers, or networks
- improving abuse-prevention rules
- referring serious safety concerns to appropriate authorities where required
We do not publicly share exact detection methods, report thresholds, or enforcement rules because doing so could help abusive users bypass safety protections.
Emergency Situations
AfterOmegle is not an emergency service.
If you or someone else is in immediate physical danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate authority in your region immediately. Do not wait for an email response from AfterOmegle.
What Not to Include in a Report
To protect your privacy and the privacy of others, avoid including unnecessary sensitive information. Do not send:
- passwords
- OTPs
- payment details
- bank information
- government IDs
- private documents
- unnecessary personal photos
- unrelated screenshots
- another person's private information unless it is necessary to explain the safety concern
Only include what is needed to help us understand and review the issue.
False or Misleading Reports
Do not submit false, misleading, or spam reports. Misusing the reporting system degrades safety review quality and can result in restrictions on your access.
Reports should be made in good faith when you believe a user has violated our Community Guidelines or created a safety concern.
Privacy and Reporting
Safety reports are used to enforce Community Guidelines and improve abuse detection. For details on how safety-related data is handled, read our Privacy Policy.
