AfterOmegle is built for simple, respectful, and safer random video chat. These Community Guidelines explain what is allowed, what is not allowed, and how users are expected to behave while using the platform.
By using AfterOmegle, you agree to follow these guidelines and help keep the platform safe for everyone.
Our Community Standard
AfterOmegle is for friendly conversations between people who want to meet new people online. Random video chat should feel casual, respectful, and safe.
You should treat others with basic respect, even if you skip the chat or do not want to continue the conversation.
If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can leave the chat immediately. You do not need to explain yourself or continue any conversation that feels unsafe.
1. Be Respectful
Respect other users during every conversation.
Do not harass, insult, threaten, bully, shame, or pressure anyone. Do not use AfterOmegle to target people based on their appearance, gender, nationality, religion, race, language, disability, or personal identity.
Respect also means accepting boundaries. If someone does not want to continue the conversation, do not pressure them.
2. No Nudity or Sexual Content
AfterOmegle does not allow nudity, sexually explicit behavior, sexual acts, sexual harassment, or unwanted sexual comments.
Do not use the platform to expose yourself, request sexual content, pressure someone into sexual conversation, or behave in a sexually aggressive way.
This rule applies to video, text, usernames, images, gestures, links, and anything shown on camera.
3. No Minor Exploitation or Unsafe Behavior Involving Minors
AfterOmegle is not designed for children. Users must meet the minimum age requirement in their region before using the platform.
We do not allow any behavior that exploits, sexualizes, endangers, grooms, threatens, manipulates, or harms minors. See our Trust and Safety page for how we handle child-safety reports.
This includes:
- sexual conversations involving minors
- requests for photos or videos from minors
- attempts to move minors to private apps
- grooming or manipulation
- blackmail or threats involving minors
- sharing or requesting child sexual abuse material
- pretending to be a minor for harmful purposes
Any suspected child-safety issue should be reported immediately and may be referred to the appropriate authorities where required. In the United States, you can report online child sexual exploitation to the NCMEC CyberTipline. In the UK, report to the Internet Watch Foundation.
4. No Harassment, Hate Speech, or Bullying
Do not attack, degrade, or threaten people.
AfterOmegle does not allow:
- hate speech
- slurs or abusive language
- bullying
- intimidation
- threats of violence
- repeated unwanted contact
- humiliation or shaming
- targeting people based on protected characteristics
Random chat should not be used to make other people feel unsafe or degraded.
5. No Threats, Violence, or Self-Harm Encouragement
Do not threaten to hurt another person, encourage violence, or promote dangerous behavior.
You may not use AfterOmegle to:
- threaten physical harm
- encourage self-harm
- promote suicide
- glorify violence
- intimidate users
- blackmail or extort someone
- pressure someone into unsafe acts
If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate authority in your region.
6. No Scams, Fraud, or Suspicious Links
Do not use AfterOmegle to scam, deceive, or exploit users.
This includes:
- asking for money
- asking for gift cards or crypto
- requesting OTPs, passwords, payment details, or banking information
- sending phishing links
- sending malware or suspicious links
- impersonating a company, creator, platform, or support agent
- promising fake rewards, jobs, relationships, investments, or giveaways
Users should never share financial information with strangers online.
7. No Recording, Screenshots, or Sharing Without Consent
Respect other users' privacy.
Do not record, screenshot, stream, publish, or share another person's video, audio, messages, image, or personal information without their permission.
Do not threaten to expose, embarrass, blackmail, or share someone's content.
Depending on your region, recording or sharing someone without consent may also violate the law.
8. No Sharing Private Information
Do not share someone else's private information. See our Privacy Policy for how AfterOmegle handles your own data.
This includes:
- phone numbers
- addresses
- emails
- social media profiles
- school or workplace details
- government IDs
- financial information
- private photos or videos
- family information
- location details
You should also avoid sharing your own private information with strangers.
9. No Impersonation
Do not pretend to be another person, public figure, company, brand, platform, or AfterOmegle team member.
Do not mislead users about who you are, what you represent, or why you are contacting them.
Impersonation can be harmful and may lead to restrictions.
10. No Spam, Bots, or Platform Abuse
Do not misuse AfterOmegle or interfere with the platform.
Not allowed:
- bots or automated usage
- spam messages
- repeated disruptive behavior
- fake traffic
- attempts to manipulate matching
- attempts to bypass bans or restrictions
- scraping, crawling, or reverse engineering
- exploiting bugs or security weaknesses
- excessive reconnecting to abuse the platform
AfterOmegle may use abuse-prevention systems to reduce spam, repeated misuse, and ban evasion.
11. No Illegal Activity
Do not use AfterOmegle for illegal activity of any kind.
This includes promoting, planning, requesting, or participating in activity that violates applicable laws in your country or region. Examples include distributing controlled substances, facilitating human trafficking, sharing non-consensual intimate images, operating under a fraudulent identity to commit financial crimes, and any form of extortion. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive. Activity that violates the law is prohibited regardless of whether it appears here.
Illegal activity may be reported to the appropriate authorities where required. AfterOmegle cooperates with law enforcement when legally obligated to do so.
12. Keep Your Camera and Background Safe
Before starting a video chat, check what your camera can see. Learn more about staying safe in our how it works guide.
Avoid showing:
- home address
- documents
- ID cards
- computer screens
- private photos
- family members without consent
- workplace information
- school uniforms or location clues
You are responsible for what you choose to show during a chat.
13. Use the Skip or End Chat Option
You are never required to continue a conversation. The skip and end-chat controls are explained in our how it works guide.
Use skip or end chat if:
- someone makes you uncomfortable
- someone asks for private information
- someone sends a link
- someone shows explicit content
- someone pressures you to move to another app
- someone threatens, harasses, or scams you
Leaving an unsafe conversation is always the right choice.
Enforcement
AfterOmegle may take action when users violate these Community Guidelines. Full details on how our safety systems work are on the Trust and Safety page.
Depending on the behavior, actions may include:
- warning
- temporary restriction
- permanent restriction
- blocking repeated misuse
- limiting access from certain sessions, devices, or networks
- reviewing reports
- reporting serious safety concerns to appropriate authorities where required
We may use user reports, automated safety checks, abuse-prevention signals, and moderation review to enforce these guidelines.
We do not publicly share exact enforcement thresholds or detection methods because doing so could help bad actors bypass safety protections.
Reporting Violations
If you see behavior that violates these guidelines, leave the chat and report it using the report button. Reports are anonymous. If you need further assistance, contact us through our support channel.
When reporting, include only necessary details such as:
- what happened
- type of issue
- approximate time
- whether the issue involved nudity, harassment, threat, scam, suspicious link, minor safety, or repeated misuse
Do not include unnecessary private information in your report.
If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate authority in your region.
Updates to These Guidelines
AfterOmegle may update these Community Guidelines as the platform grows, safety systems improve, or legal requirements change.
We encourage users to review these guidelines regularly and use AfterOmegle responsibly.

Community Guidelines FAQ
Common questions about AfterOmegle rules and enforcement.
Depending on the severity and frequency, AfterOmegle may warn you, temporarily restrict your access, or permanently ban you from the platform. Serious violations (such as minor exploitation or illegal activity) result in immediate removal and may be reported to appropriate authorities.
AfterOmegle reviews enforcement decisions through our moderation process. If you believe a restriction was applied in error, you can reach out through our support channel. We do not reinstate access for violations involving minors, illegal activity, or serious safety offenses.
Use the report button during any active conversation. Reports are anonymous. The person you report will not know you reported them. After reporting, skip or end the chat. You do not need to stay in the conversation to submit a report.
AfterOmegle uses automated content-safety checks to detect inappropriate visual content in real time. We also rely on user reports as a second layer of enforcement. We keep specific details of our detection systems private to prevent bad actors from finding workarounds.
You must meet the minimum legal age in your region to use AfterOmegle. In most regions this means 18 years or older. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you encounter someone who appears to be underage, report it immediately.
