Non-Affiliation Disclaimer — AfterOmegle

AfterOmegle is an independent random video chat platform. It is not owned by, operated by, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially affiliated with Omegle, Chatroulette, OmeTV, Chatrandom, Emerald Chat, Camsurf, Shagle, Monkey, or any other third-party random chat platform, website, app, company, brand, or service.

Independent Platform

AfterOmegle was created as an independent platform for users who want a simple way to talk to strangers online through browser-based random video chat. It launched in May 2026 and was built from scratch by Madhav Agrawal, a software engineer based in India, using a Go WebSocket backend, a Next.js frontend, and WebRTC for peer-to-peer video. No account is required to start a chat.

I built AfterOmegle because I wanted to create a simple random video chat experience that feels easy to use, but also more responsible about safety, privacy, and user control. Random chat should be fun, but users also deserve clear rules, fast ways to leave uncomfortable conversations, and a platform that takes misuse seriously.

— Madhav Agrawal, Founder

The name "AfterOmegle" reflects the idea of helping users find a random chat option after Omegle shut down in November 2023. It does not mean that AfterOmegle is connected to Omegle, operated by Omegle, approved by Omegle, or a continuation of Omegle.

Not a Successor or Replacement

AfterOmegle is not an official replacement, successor, relaunch, or continuation of Omegle or any other platform. It was not created by Omegle's founders, owners, or team.

Users who were previously on Omegle and are looking for a random video chat option may find AfterOmegle useful. But AfterOmegle is a new product with its own design, rules, safety systems, and technology. Nothing from Omegle carries over: not accounts, not history, not bans, and not moderation records.

If you are looking for information about Omegle's shutdown or want to reach Omegle directly, you would need to use Omegle's own official channels.

No Ownership or Endorsement
